- Over the rainbow colour - from hot and bright oranges, reds and pinks that say “wow” to clear yellows, lavenders, turquoises and greens. This season, don’t be afraid to wear colour on top or bottom! Not so bold...anchor your colour with white, black, soft grey or sand.
- Scarves unlimited - the scarf obsession continues as this season as the “must have” accessory item. Look for new airy oversized linen wraps.

- Control Issues - Look for a little help with items that add control panels to the construction of the garment. Comfortable as well as flattering...cheat a little!
- Ankle length pants - the "it" pant of the season...pants stop short at the ankle...all the better to show off those great shoes!
- Statement skirts - Short and full... usually printed or embroidered...skirts that become the focal point of your outfit. Look for flattering silhouettes that flow from the hip not the waist.
- Printed cardigans - Need a quick fix to lift your spirits? Look for a printed cardigan. Florals, abstracts, animal and tie-dye prints worn over a dress or separates.
- Throw over coats - easy over coats and jackets...light-weight...soft and fluid...it can be colourful...any length will do...the perfect outer layer. A signature cover-up of the season.
- The peasant top - free spirited and inspired by the 60’s and 70’s, think back to Woodstock, “Hair” and flower power. Embroidered, tie-dyed or printed. Paired up with your favourite jeans and you have a winning look for Spring 2009.
